UNDP China Delegation Visits Heiman to Explore Innovative Practices in Age-Friendly Safety Protection

On 30 July, Mr. Stefan Liller, UNDP Resident Representative in China , and Mr. Philip Schellekens, Chief Economist of UNDP Regional Bureau for Asia and the Pacific, led a delegation to visit heiman. The parties exchanged views and conducted research on innovations of smart elderly care safety products for vulnerable groups, focusing on the company’s practices in age-friendly smart devices, accessible design and practical application scenarios.

Liu Ya, General Manager of Heiman, together with the management team, accompanied the delegation to view demonstrations of elderly care scenario solutions. The delegation learned about a suite of age-friendly safety products including millimeter-wave radar fall detectors, smoke alarms, combustible gas alarms, carbon monoxide alarms and SOS emergency call devices, and examined their technical applications in intelligent sensing, risk early warning, accessible interaction and remote linkage. Both sides held discussions on leveraging technology to empower elderly care services and improve home safety safeguards for vulnerable groups.

Heiman will continue to pursue innovation in smart safety products for elderly care, accelerate the implementation of smart safety technologies in elderly care scenarios, and commit to building a safer, more inclusive and sustainable living environment through technological innovation.
